I am very proud to say that I am a 1993 graduate of the Dallas School
District! After my positive experience at Dallas, I ventured on to Wilkes
University where I obtained degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education.
I began my teaching career in Southwest Philadelphia where I taught and lead
therapy sessions in an intensive day-treatment facility that catered to boys
ages 9 to 13. From there I moved on to a position at the Wyoming Valley
Montessori School teaching grades 4,5, and 6. My next teaching opportunity
lead me to King of Prussia where I taught 5th grade at the Upper Merion Area
School District. Finally, through good fortune, I came back home to
Dallas!
On a personal note, I am married and have a beautiful little girl named
Skylar. She was born on May 4, 2008. In addition to being a mom, here are
some things I enjoy: yoga, hiking, NFL
football, chocolate (yum), ice cream, gardening, music, traveling, and ...
TEACHING!
My mission is to create a community in which students strive to give their
personal best effort. It is my hope that each and every child that passes
through my classroom will journey on a path to self discovery, obtain a
priceless appreciation for education, achieve personal success, pursue
individual excellence, and discover pride & satisfaction in personal
achievement.
