1. You must draw the outline of your state on the paper provided. (2 points)
2. Inside the outline you should include the following information:

Ø      State capital (1 point)

Ø      Climate (2 points)

Ø      Indigenous plants and animals (6 points)

Ø      Natural resources (5 points)

Ø      Population (1 point)

3. Feel free to add anything you find interesting, like famous people from that state or whatever you feel would make the report more interesting.(3 points)
4. Make your map colorful and neat.  Be sure to check your spelling, it counts! (10 points)
5. You will present the information to the class.  You may use your map to help, but you should be able to speak about your state from memory. (10 points)
