Thanksgiving Coat Drive
Students are needed for the annual Thanksgiving Coat Drive for the Commission
on Economic Opportunity. Students will arrange the entire program from
advertising, designing boxes, collecting the coats, etc. If you are
interested, contact the Ms. Robyn Jones. This is a great completion project
or volunteer opportunity open to everyone.
Mentoring Opportunity
Any student writer who would be interested in mentoring an aspiring 4th grade
novelist, please contact Wycallis Elementary School Principal, Kathleen
McCarthy. This could be a potential completion project or a volunteer mentor
experience.
Project DJ
There is a group called Project DJ that meets at the Trucksville Methodist
Church each Thursday evening to make quilts for donation to ill or
hospitalized people.

Back Mountain Library Auction:
The Back Mountain Library holds and auction every summer. For a
previous completion project, a student set up a childrens' tent and had games
and activities set up for kids. The library would consider this and any
other ideas for this event.
