Michael J. Cleary Memorial Scholarship, submit autobiographical statement and resume
 to Guidance Office by Monday, April 22, 2013.


Dallas Lions Book Scholarship -  Two $500 scholarships available to senior,
application available in guidance office and must be received by April 26, 2013.

 Future Nurse Scholarship -$1000 award to high school senior
pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Scholarship in memory of Richard Berritini, certified school nurse who lost his life in Afghanistan in 2008.
 Applications in Guidance
Office, must be postmarked byMay 1, 2013.
 

Northern Tier Hardwood Association-$500 award to students
250 word essay explaining goals in wood industry. Student should
be furthering education in forestry, wood industry mfg., heavy
equipment operation, applications in Guidance Office,
due by May 1st.

 

Jay Saunders Memorial Scholarshipgraduating senor who has made positive contributions
 to the school and community through participation in ejxtracurricular
activities/sports and community service. $1000 scholarship. Interested candidates
must submit an essay highlighting what you’ve done in the past
four years and
 what future plans do you have which would qualify you to win this award.

Kim Skiro Scholarship Fund - Seniors who played in the WV Youth Soccer League will be eligible to apply for one of the two $2000 scholarships available.  Demonstrated academic achievements, good sportsmanship, positive role model, 250 word essay on one of three topics, coach's evaluation sheet, guidance form will be evaluated by selection  committee.  Application available in guidance office and
is due by May 15, 2013.


WYOMING VALLEY FIELD HOCKEY OFFICIALS SCHOLARSHIP
Three $500 scholarships will be awarded to  senior Field Hockey players who write an essay of up to 500 words on why you deserve the scholarship and how playing field hockey has had an effect on your
 life. Recommendation and copy of acceptance to college you will attend required. 
Must be received by: May 17, 2013.



Linda Akers Scholarship - member of United Methodist Church, written essay describing what your church, school and community activities have been, short description of faith journey, 2 letters of support, one from pastor, transcripts, deadline:  May 20, 2013.

AES Engineering Scholarship- character based scholarship awarded to high school seniors and students attending post secondary educational.  Requires an essay of 500-1000 words on:"Reflecting on your personal experiences and/or circumstances, tell us something about
yourself that distinguishes you as a potential scholarship candidate."
