Rules

~The purpose of the Library Media Center is for school and personal
   research. It is not a place to meet friends or �hang out.�
 ~Backpacks and bookbags are not allowed in the Library during flex, nor 
    are they to be kept outside the Library door.
 ~No food or beverages are allowed in the Library or the atrium.

Borrowing Materials & Renewals

~Books and magazines may be borrowed for 2 week periods.
~Reference and audiovisual materials (video tapes, CD�s, etc�) may be 
   borrowed overnight.
~All materials can be renewed unless someone has a reserve on the 
   material(s).
~You must bring the material(s) to the Library in order to renew them.
~No more than 2 nonfiction books on ths same topic may be borrowed at the 
same time
~A student may have no more than 10 items out at the same time.

Overdue and Lost Materials

~Books and magazines have a 2 day �grace� period.
~After the �grace� period there is a fine of 15 cents for each day the item 
is overdue.
~Audiovisual materials have NO �grace� period and hold a fine of $1.00 each  
   day overdue.
~Reference materials have NO �grace� period and hold a fine of 25 cents each 
   day overdue.
~Lost materials are to be paid for and have a $2.00 charge upon the price.  
This is to cover the cost of book covers, card kits, barcodes, etc�
