Entrepreneurship is a quarter class that takes
students through the process of becoming the proprietor (owner) of a variety
of businesses. Topics include: The importance of a written business plan,
types of business ownerships (proprietorships, partnerships, incorporations,
limited liability corporations, S corporations), advertising, franchising,
government impact on marketing, entrepreneurial skills, resources (natural and
capital) and the physical layout of merchandising businesses. Promethian board
PowerPoint presentations will be used to introduce each lesson. Students must
come to class prepared with workbook, textbook, notebook and pencil/pen.
Students should come to class prepared to work and learn. Grade is derived
through testing, daily work and projects.
