The following components of the course will be used to evaluate progress and
determine grades:
1. Tests (100 points each)
2. Quizzes (20 points each)
3. Homework and Class Assignments (points vary based on assignment)
4. Notebook Quizzes (10 points each)
5. Comprehensive Final Exam (up to 200 points)
6. Participation (points determined at end of each quarter)
7. Basic Skills Quizzes (10 points each)
NOTE: There is NO extra credit in this course! Students have more than
ample opportunities to be successful based on the total points possible at
the end of each quarter. The more effort put forth, the greater the success!
