JoAnn McAllister has a B.S. degree in chemistry and an M.S. degree in
Secondary Education from the University of Scranton. She has taught at
Dallas High School for nine years, and has teaching certifications in
Chemistry, Environmental Science and English. Previously, she worked at
Coughlin High School as a chemistry teacher, and at RCA/Harris Semiconductor
in Mountaintop as a process engineer, manufacturing MOS transistors.
Mrs. McAllister lives in Moscow, commuting everyday (It's harder now
that the Concorde is out of commission). Her children are Maura, 22, and
Ian, 19, and Tommy, 19. She also has a very cute chihuahua named Teddy.
