The Amnesty/ Diversity Club at Dallas High School has been in existence for about 7 years. The club participates in activities sponsored by the Diversity Consortium of College Misericordia (such as The Diversity Leadership Forum in the Fall for Juniors and the Diversity Camp for sophomores in June)as well as sponsoring school-wide observances of Mental Health Month, World AIDS Day, Martin Luther King Day and Holocaust Remebrance, as well as other events the club generates through member interest. We also participate in the Amnesty International letter writing campaigns against human rights abuses and support Amnesty's student initiatives.
