2 is a continuation of Spanish 1. The same text book
is used. The text is based on the National Standards
for
World Languages, focusing on the five C’s. ( Communications,
Cultures,
Connections, Comparisons and Communities.)
*SPANISH
2 BEGINS WITH A REVIEW SEGMENT OF
SPANISH 1.
Requirements: All students are required to bring textbooks to class
everyday.
Books are to be
covered at all times. A 3-ring binder with clear
covering is required. Writing utensils are the
students
responsibility
also. YOU WILL TAKE NOTES!
Daily points
cannot be earned if unprepared for class.
Format: Text and class work are designed to appeal to
varied learning
styles:
kinesthetic, visual, auditory, interpersonal, linguistic,
logical,
naturalistic and musical. Activities are varied.
Homework: Assignments are numbered. Notebook
checks will be made
in increments of
25. Notebooks will be marked. Points are
awarded.
Due dates: All work has a due date. The penalty
is 5 points per day if late.
Absence: You are required to make up any
assignments, quizzes, tests
and projects. Use e-mail and Web Page for
information.
Extra Help: Available through weekly tutorials. Tutorials are
mandatory if
failing.
Evaluations: Quizzes,
tests, oral presentations, daily points, projects.
Final exam: Comprehensive.
