Peer Helpers are elected by their classmates ( 6 from each grade ). They
receive training in Peer Mediation and Leadership. They are students
willing to help settle minor disputes among the student body before they
escalate into disciplinary problems for the Administration. Peer Helpers also
are committed to keeping confidences within the group. They are highly
trustworthy members of the student body of Dallas High School.
Peer Helpers are sensitive to the needs of the Community as well. At this
time we participate in the Diabetes Walk assisting Mrs. Rakowski and the
Dallas Middle School Student Council and the Community Christmas Fundraiser to
provide a more fulfilling holiday season for members of our Back Mountain
community.
