About The Teacher
Hola, I am Sandy Sharkus. I have a B.A. in Spanish and an M.S. in Education, (Classroom Technology) from Wilkes University. My husband, Charlie, and I live in Sweet Valley sharing our home with two cats(Billie,a girl, and Wiley ) and our yellow lab "Suzie". We have a son, John, who graduated from King's College. He teaches High School English and coaches Football. I am a quilter and always have a project or two spread around the house!

Mission
My mission for my Spanish classes is to help my students understand what it means to live in a global society. I encourage them to seek a greater understanding for and acceptance of the Latino people and their culture through the study of their language.
