Thursday 11-12 We had our first Science Olympiad (SO) meeting on Tuesday from 3-5pm. We discussed the 22 events that make the SO. Any student that missed the first meeting can get a description of the events here : http://soinc.org/short_event_descriptions (We are division B) Students took brief notes about each event. Students were given an assignement that needs to be completed for our next meeting which will be Tuesday 11-19 from 3-5pm. Students must do the following: -Pick 5 of the 22 events that you are interested in. - Obtain one information sheet about one of the five events. I have these information sheets. - Research some portion of the that event. Print out a minimum of 3 pages that are helpful in learning about that event. Bring all three of these to our next meeting which will be Tuesday 11/19.
