An orientation program is held in May of each school year to assist 5th
grade students and their parents with transitioning to the Middle School.
The orientation begins with the Middle School Counselors visiting the
students at their respective elementary buildings to discuss
Middle School procedures, classes, activities, rules, schedules, etc. The
students then come to the Middle School for a visit, which includes
touring the building and meeting the Principal and Assistant Principal.
Parents are invited to an evening program at the Middle School which
includes introductions of staff, a brief description of courses and
programs, followed by a tour of the building.
