Specific details of projects will be provided in class. Generally, projects
should be completed and graded on the date announced in class. Projects must
be completed in class unless the student has been given permission to
complete a step outside of class. Care must be taken when transporting
projects back and forth to school. Credit will only be given for preapproved
projects.
The safety contract must be completed the first week of the marking
period. Specific, safety activities must be completed before students are
permitted to use machines and power tools. Students are to contact the
instructor for make-up assignments when returning from an absence. Additional
help is available upon request. Students are to makeup work promptly when
absent from school. All graded projects must be taken home before the marking
period ends. Due to space limitations, unclaimed projects may be discarded
after the marking period ends.
