We know we're a few days late on this, but we've FINALLY posted the 5 Finalists for our Best Website contest on our Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/TeacherWebInc
. You have from now until midnight next Wednesday, May 22nd, to vote on your favorite. The winner will receive a free year of TeacherWeb, and the 4 runners-up will get $15 Starbucks giftcards, so vote wisely! The Finalists' websites are posted in their own photo album on our Facebook page, so check those out first, visit the sites, click around, then come back and vote via our poll.
Thanks for your participation - we were amazed by all the entries and fantastic websites that we got to review, and if you didn't end up in the Top 5, know that it's because there are so many stellar educators out there using our products to reach their students and families that it was almost impossible for us to choose.
Thanks again,
The folks at TeacherWeb

7th grade Cultural Geography - This class only meets two days out of the six day cycle; therefore, the number of grades and the frequency of updates on the CSIU system will be fewer than the major subjects. Grades will be recorded in the system, as soon as quizzes and projects are graded. 7th and 8th grade Developmental Reading - These classes meet just two days out of the six day sysle; therefore, grades are not as plentiful as they may be in the major subjects. I will update CSIU as soon as tests, quizzes, and projects are graded. 8th grade Developing Nation - I will post tests, quizzes, and graded assignments to my gradebook once they have been graded. Most grades will be posted the day after the test/quiz was given. Some tests/quizzes may take longer to grade, therefore, it may take more than a day to post the grades. My grading system is based on a point system. In my class, the student’s total number of points is divided by the total number of points assigned in the class. This is their average in class. If an assignment is missing, it is not calculated into the average until the assignment is completed.
