7th and 8th Grade Developmental Reading
CLASSROOM RULES:
Be on time for class
Be prepared - bring a pen/pencil, vocab. notebook and AR book to every
class
Be respectful to fellow students and the teacher
ASSIGNMENTS:
Two AR tests must be completed each marking period
AR books for 7th grade should be at least 100 pages and be on at
least a 5.0 reading level unless otherwise approved by your teacher
AR books for 8th grade should have at least 150 pages and be on at
least a 5.5 reading level unless otherwise approved by your teacher
Your AR score counts as a test grade. If an AR test is not completed,
it will count as a ZERO.
AR tests will be due mid-marking period and near tbe end of the
marking period (see specific dates on HOMEWORK page)
Lack of an AR test in mid-marking period will result in a Progress
Report. The due date near the end of the marking period needs to be
met - there is a 5 point per day loss on late tests
