First-marking period report cards were issued Friday, November 6.
The first German club meeting of the year will be held after school today
from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Students must have a signed permission slip to attend.
The Dallas Middle School will celebrate American Education Week November 16-
20. On Monday, November 16, sixth-grade parents are invited to visit from
10:00 a.m., until 12:00 Noon and 1:15 p.m., until 2:30 p.m. On Tuesday,
November 17, seventh- and eighth-grade parents are invited to visit from 9:00
a.m., until 10:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m., until 2:30 p.m. On Wednesday,
November 18, all middle-school students will participate in an assembly
entitled, Sticks and Stones, facilitated by the Pennsylvania Attorney
General’s Office regarding cyber bullying and internet safety. Eighth-grade
students will travel to the high school to see Twelve Angry Jurors, a play
performed by our high-school students on Thursday, November 19. The week
will finish with a school-wide presentation of Oliver Twist, performed by the
Hampstead Players, a national-known performing group.
Seventh- and eighth-grade girls' basketball pre-season conditioning will be
held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the middle school.
There will be jazz band rehearsal Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m.
Do you have an old, torn, frayed, or faded American Flag? In cooperation
with American Legion Post #662, the Dallas Middle School will serve as a
collection location for damaged flags in need of proper disposal. Any
community member can drop off unserviceable American Flags in the designated
container at the main entrance of the middle school during school hours.
