TechLiteracy Challenge This challenge was designed to support technology professional development for teachers, in our schools.
The Are You Smarter than a Gradeschooler Challenge was accepted by 57 of our 203 Archdiocesan schools. These schools agreed to test the technology literacy of their teachers based on the NET-S for 8th graders . (National Educational Technology Standards for Students). Teachers were tested in the fall and will be tested again in the spring. The school with the most gains in technology literacy skills, as measured by the Techliteracy Assessment, will win a laptop cart. Two laptop carts will be awarded; one for the elementary level and one for the secondary level.
See the For Administrators section of this site for teacher technology staff development resources and technology skills interactive quizzes.
