Announcements

The Caroling Service scheduled for tomorrow at 12:15 in the lower Church will
now be held at the school auditorium. I feel that due to the conditions of
streets and sidewalks, it is easier to keep the children in one location.
The children will be dismissed from the school auditorium following the
Christmas Caroling Service. You are welcome to join us in the auditorium for
the service.

As we enter the Final week of Advent, we are encouraged to look for the ways
that Jesus makes himself present to us each day, through Scripture, the
sacraments, and other people. May the peace that the world is longing for
be the gift that fills your homes and hearts this holiday season.

Christmas Vacation begins on Wednesday, December 23 at 1:00 and classes will
resume on Monday, January 4, 2010.

Masses for Christmas at Epiphany of Our Lord Church are:
December 24 (5:00 PM and Midnight)
                      December 25 (7:00 and 9:00)

Our Public Address System broke on Tuesday, December 15. The system was
over 30 years old and could not be fixed. We had estimates for a new
system. The new system was installed on Friday, December 18. The cost of
the system was $3200; we utilized some of the funds which were raised
through the Christmas drive and Walk-A-Thon.

The Pot of Gold Progressive Lottery will begin the first week of January.
The tickets and information letter will be sent home this week to those
families that indicated that they would be interested in selling tickets.
If you have not sent in your response to this lottery request, you can still
send it in to school. This lottery will totally benefit the sustainability
of our school for the future. Thank you for your participation and support.
