**PLEASE SEE YOUR CHILD'S SPECIFIC READING TEACHER'S WEBSITE FOR THEIR SPELLING/READING/WRITING INFORMATION.
Mrs. Bridgen's Morning Reading Class ONLY:
**We will not be having reading groups
Thursday or Friday due to the Cancer Awareness walk on Thursday and our field
trip on Friday. Our spelling test will
be taken Friday afternoon.
Reading:
This week, our reading focus will be on
finding evidence or proof. Good readers
are always thinking about what it is they are reading. I will be constantly asking them questions
after reading. They must be able to
answer and find support for their answers within the story.
Practice with your child at home while
reading! After each page ask them
something about what they have just read and have them show you the sentence
where they found their “proof.”
Spelling:
Our
spelling skills for this week are spl- and –ung word families.
-splash
-split
