About Fairview Elementary Physical Education
<P><BR><BR>The goal of the k-4 Fairview Elementary Physical Education is to provide a variety of physical activities through movement that promotes health and fitness.</P> All units will have physical activity to improve motor skills and have group interaction. The student will have an understanding of the effects of regular participation, the responses of the body systems, and their preferences to physical activity.<BR><BR> The students will be exposed to concepts, principles, and strategies of movement. This will include movement skills and concepts, motor skill development, practice strategies, principles of exercise/training, scientific principles that affect movement, and game strategies.<BR><BR> I want the student to grow up fit, happy, and healthy,with a high regard of well-being for themselves and others.<BR>
