III. Chaperones:

We need three parent chaperones to travel with the band and ride the school buses. You should arrive at school by 7:50 a.m. and would be finished at approximately 12:10 p.m. Responsibilities would include taking roll on the buses and helping to supervise students before and after the performances. Once we return to the middle school, you would help serve the lunch and supervise the students eating lunch. If you are interested in volunteering, please return the attached Chaperone Information Sheet.

We are also in need of four to six parents who own a van or pick‑up truck. You would be driving the equipment from school to school. This is a very important responsibility. If you are interested in volunteering, please return the attached Chaperone Information Sheet as soon as possible.

Thanks to all parents for considering volunteering.

IV. Student Conduct:

A. You are representatives of the middle school and should conduct         yourselves like young ladies and gentlemen. All school rules and         policies are to be followed.
B. Please give the chaperones the same respect you would a teacher. The chaperones are volunteering their time and energy. Be respectful.
C. Listen carefully to all instructions and wait quietly while in the buses.
D. Above all, do your best to be excellent ambassadors of music and       F.S.E.M.S.
