Dear Parents,

Does your child enjoy exploring the great outdoors or fixing the family car? Maybe there is a
future Emily Dickinson or budding scientist in your midst. Whatever their interest, chances are
they'll find it at the Chester County Intermediate Unit's Summer Career Academies. The
academies are offered in a variety of areas for students in grades 5-9. All academies are
taught in an active, hands-on style by qualified, professional instructors. The Summer Career
Academies will run during the month of July at various sites throughout Chester County. Their
newest location is in West Grove! The morning sessions will run from 9:00 am until 11:00 am and
the afternoon sessions will run from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. For descriptions of the academies
