Multiagency Emergency Drill Scheduled Friday, October 10, at Avon Grove High School Gym
Local emergency management officials will be conducting an emergency
response drill at Avon Grove High School on Friday, October 10, 2008. The
drill will take place in the high school gymnasium between approximately 10
a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Area emergency services organizations, including several
ambulances and a Brandywine Sky FlightCare helicopter, are scheduled to
respond to a simulated event. All district schools are closed October 10 for
a teacher in-service day. Classes will not be in session.

AGSD Forms Class Size Task Force; Work Begins on Class Size Project Charter
The Avon Grove School District has announced the formation of a 15-member Class Size Task Force
that is charged with reviewing the District’s class size policy and making recommendations for
any changes to the Avon Grove School District Board of School Directors. The first meeting of
the task force is scheduled Tuesday, September 23, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the AGIS Audion.
