MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEST ON "TO BUILD A FIRE" AND ADVERBS ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15th. Tuesday, December 8th: "To Build a Fire" question sheet DUE FRIDAY!!! Thursday, December 3rd: Journal entry # 4 Thursday, November 19th: Write vocabulary words and definitions 5 times each except for period six which will write them ten times each. TEST MONDAY ON "THE NECKLACE," "THE SNIPER," VOCABULARY AND ADJECTIVES STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday, November 13th: Adjective worksheet Thursday, November 12th: Sniper question and vocabulary sheet. Tuesday, November 10th: Summary and ten sentences with adjectives from "The Sniper" Wednesday, November 4th: Cause/Effect worksheet on "The Necklace" Literature Test Monday, October 26th: Including Vocabulary list # 1 Monday, October 19th: Journal Entry # 3. LITERATURE TEST NEXT MONDAY!!!! Friday, October 16th: Minimum one page essay comparing and contrasting "The Story of an Hour" with the Twilight Zone episode, "The Grave." Thursday, October 8th: Questions from "The Story of an Hour" Tuesday, October 6th: Journal Entry # 1 (listed on journal page) MAJOR TEST ON VERBS AND VERB TENSES MONDAY, OCTOBER 5TH. Monday September 28th: Verb Tenses--pages 14 & 15 of the binder. Thursday, September 24th: Verb Worksheet and 1/2 page writing assignment according to instructions. First major test on nouns and pronouns will be held on Friday, September 18th. Wednesday, September 9th: Pages 3 & 4 of binder. Tuesday, September 8th: Paragraph worksheet on types of nouns. Thursday, September 3rd: Pages 1 & 2 of binder to be completed in notebook.
