My name is Lydia Brill and I am the Certified School Psychologist for the
Greater Nanticoke Area School District. I received my undergraduate degree
from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pa. I then pursued my Master's
Degree in Psychology from Marywood University, Scranton, Pa. Upon completion
of my master's, I received my School Psychology Certification from Marywood
University. Finally, I recently received my doctoral degree in School
Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
(PCOM).
Prior to being employed by the Greater Nanticoke Area School District, I have
held many mental health related jobs located in the Philadelphia and Wilkes-
Barre area such as Intensive Case Manager, Therepeutic Staff Support (TSS),
Mobile Therapist, Inpatient Psychotherapist at the Mercy Adolescent Unit, and
Crisis Specialist. I have experience working with children with many
different mental health diagnoses and Autism.
While attending PCOM, I have served as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for two
different assessment courses and have also co-authored a book chapter with
two of my professors on mood disorders and cognitive behavioral therapy
(CBT). Most recently, I was a co-presenter, along with two of my professors,
at the 2006 Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP)
Conference in March.
