PARENT FYI--ALL 8TH GRADE STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST A 70 % AVERAGE. ANY
FAILING GRADE (HOMEWORK, QUIZ, OR TEST) MAY BE RE-DONE OR REWRITTEN FOR A
70%. STUDENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF THIS POLICY SINCE THE FIRST DAY OF
SCHOOL.
2ND MARKING PERIOD All 8th grade Reading students will be participating in
the Christmas Around the World Project... Student will be given the syllabus
for this project and the scoring rubric before Thanksgiving Break.
PAPERBACK BOOK TEST-----THIS WILL BE ASSIGNED AT THE START OF THE 3RD
MARKING PERIOD All 8th grade Reading students must choose a
paperback from my suggested reading list. You will have until the last week
of the marking period to complete this reading assignment. You must take a
test on that book before the marking period is over. (Around October 31st or
sooner)
