#1: Current Event Article.  Due date: September 3, 2009.

#2: Current Event Article.  Due date:  September 9, 2009.

#3: Current Event Article.  Due date: September 11, 2009.

#4: Current Event Article.  Due date: September 15, 2009.

#5: Current Event Article.  Due date: September 18, 2009.

#6: Choose an animal that you are interested in or a pet that you may have at
       home, and write a one page essay on that animal.  Include a description
       of the animal, its habitat, and its nutritional requirements.  Due 
date:
       September 23, 2009.

#7: Current Event Article. Due date: September 29, 2009.

#8: Current Event Article.  Due date: October 2, 2009.

#9: Current Event Article.  Due date: October 6, 2009.

#10: Current Event Article.  Due date: October 9, 2009.

All assignments are due on the given date.  If assignments are turned in late 
1 point will be deducted for each day it is late (this includes weekends). If 
you know you won’t be in school hand it in early.

Remember, the assignments are each 10 points and this will be a major test 
grade.

THE LAST DAY TO HAND IN ANY ASSIGNMENTS IS OCTOBER 21, 2009.
