9th Grade Current Events
Students were given a calendar of the current events. Students are to bring an article to class with them on the Mponday of the week the article will be due. If students do not bring an article with them to class, they will begin with half credit and an article will be assigned to them. They may bring in an internet article, newspaper article or an article from a magazine. If they do not have access to these materials, the library has plenty of options for them. Current event packets will be given out in class on the day that students are to bring the article to class with them. The students will be given the class time to work on their articles and complete the packet. There is a peer review section on the packet, which is why I allow students class time to complete this assignment.
