Welcome Students and Parents,

I am Mr. Prushinski and I am your Physical Science teacher.  I am very 
excited about teaching this class.  I run my class on a total points system 
meaning, the grades are not weighted they are just worth a given number of 
points that will go towards a total at the end of the quarter.

In addition to tests and quizzes there will be a binder check each quarter 
which will be worth 100 pts (the same as a test).  Homework and participation 
are also valued in my class.   You will be given homework assignments which 
when randomly checked are worth 10 points. If you are a disruptive influence 
or you come late and/or unprepared to class your average will be effected 
accordingly.

This class will touch on many introductory chemistry and physics topics.  It 
will also serve as an introduction to higher level scientific thinkng.

I am always available to give extra instruction to students during 7th 
period, please feel free to stop by Room 215 if you have any questions.

I look forward to teaching this class and all of you this year.
