Within the third grade, students will interact with the curriculum based
subject-matter in a variety of hands-on, discovery learning experiences.
Differentiated instruction will provide each student the opportunity to
access the information at hand in a way that most agrees with their learning
style. Strategies will be introduced and practiced so that all students
will discover ways in which they can push themselves further academically.
Each classroom member will interact with their peers in cooperative ways in
order to learn to value the different viewpoints each student brings to the
classroom environment. Students will develop their sense of community
further by learning the importance and practicing what it means to be
respectful of one another. Throughout each day, students will seek out ways
in which God has been reflected through the actions of one another. By
implementing this mission statement, the students will become more
knowledgeable, thoughtful, and constructive members of the classroom
community.
