Welcome to Holy Cross Catholic School in the Mt. Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia! Our primary purpose is to provide a Catholic Christian education in an atmosphere where living and learning are fully integrated with Gospel values. We strive to develop and share the unique talents and gifts of all members of our school community for the praise of God and in service to God's people.

Mission Statement:
Holy Cross School is a faith-centered Catholic community offering an excellent academic program which is rooted in Gospel values. Students are empowered to do their best to learn and to apply their knowledge, religious values, and God given talents to meet the challenges of a morally complex 21st century.

If you do not have a church where you worship regularly, you are always welcome at Holy Cross and Saint Madeleine Sophie. Mass is celebrated Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 11am at Holy Cross Church and on Sundays at 9am at Saint Madeleine Sophie Church (6440 Greene Street).

Registration is now open, please go to Mytads.com to register for the 2013 - 2014 school year. Remember to apply for financial aid scholarships at MYTADS.com All children that arrive after 7:30 must be dropped off in the rear school yard and then walk around to the front door to be buzzed in. All students must wear the proper uniform, even on gym day.
Every child may receive a free breakfast at our before care program. The child must be in the lunchroom by 7:55 AM in order to receive breakfast. If you are dropping off a child in the morning and going into the building with them please park by the wall not in the car-line.
