Holy Name School

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Holy Name Home School Association, I would like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year.  The purpose of the Association is to provide spiritual, educational, financial and volunteer support services to Holy Name School consistent with its policies.

The objectives of the Association are:

              school community.

              are aware of the activities at the school.

With this in mind, the Holy Name Home School Association was able to raise significant funds this past school year.  The monies raised went towards school supplies, bus transportation for field trips and the school website, to name a few.  The Association was also able to bring in Mobile Ed programs such as Crime Scene Investigators and Our World and the Environment.  We were also able to sponsor Mr. Tom McCarty in the Artist in Residence program.  Musician Jim Donovan graciously held a drumming concert to benefit the music department.

We look forward to continuing to provide additional educational materials and programs for the new school year.  It is important for every family to become involved in the school.  We truly hope you will consider becoming a voting member of the association.

Our first General Meeting is Wednesday, September 9 at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria.  The Holy Name School Open House will immediately follow the meeting.
