Late Arrival
Everyone should be aware of the process of entering the parking lot and the school in the morning. Please note that once the students' entrance door has been closed, students who are just arriving are considered late. Mrs. Meyers will check to see that the parking lot line of cars have all dropped off their students and then she will close and lock the door. Students will then have to come to the main entrance, ring the bell and then proceed to the main office to sign in and receive a late pass. All students MUST adhere to this rule.

Important Telephone Numbers Concerning School Bus Issues
Parents, please note that if your child's school bus does not arrive on time please do not call the school. We have no control over bus situations! Here are the numbers that you should call: The School District of Philadelphia Transportation Division:215-400-5288 and Durham Bus Company: 215-535-7300. Please be sure to have your child at the bus stop 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Important Reminder Regarding Illness
Parents/guardians, please be aware that if your child is sick, please let him or her stay home. If a child has a fever, he or she MUST be kept at home! Students MAY NOT return to school until they have been fever free (without the use of Tylenol) for 24 hours. For everyone's safety, please adhere to this rule! Remember that a child who is sent back to school too soon only runs the risk of reinfection, as well as passing it on to others.

Acer Aspire One Netbook Raffle Tickets
As you know, Holy Spirit is currently conducting a fundraiser raffle, sponsored by Leone's Comp Computer Repair. The prize is an Acer Aspire One Netbook. The drawing will be held on December 11, and ticket sales are going quite well! If you are not going to sell the raffle tickets which were sent home, please return the tickets to school so that we may give them to someone who would like to sell them. Remember that this is NOT a mandatory fundraiser! All proceeds from the raffle will be used towards technology for our school. Thank you to everyone for your help in this fundraiser!
