I have been teaching at Immaculate since 1967. Religion has been my
favorite subject since I was in elementary school. I think it is important
for children to learn about our faith traditions, prayers, practices, and
the saints. Hopefully, they see many adults in their lives put the book
knowledge into practice.
I love butterflies, cats, and jewelry. Unfortunately, due to an
accident three years ago, I lost my sense of smell which also affected my
ability to taste. I miss chocolate, evergreens at Christmas, strawberries,
and bananas!
Our mission in life is to "know, love, and serve God." At our time at
Immaculate Conception School, we will come to know about God, Mary, the
saints, and the teachings of the Catholic Church. We will put these faith
practices into action. We will respect one another. We will serve God and
one another as best we can, so that "they will know we are Christians by our
love."
