Hello! My name is Mr. Whitby. I am so excited that I am back in 3rd grade this year. Last year, I was teaching in room Room 212. But this year I am so happy to be in Room 209 with you!
My life in a nutshell looks something like this:
I am married to the wonderful Mrs. Colleen Whitby. I have 3 children - Ben, Jonathan and Meghan - who are students in the East Penn School District. We all enjoy spending as much time together when we're not in school or at work. We recently adopted an adorable little puppy named Callie. I'm sure I'll have lots of fun stories about her.
Teaching is my second career, and I am so happy to be here now. I come from a long line of teachers and am thrilled to carry on the tradition. I have a Bachelor's Degree from DeSales University and look forward to completing my Master's Degree in the not-too-distant future. I teach according to my favorite quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - "Intelligence plus character - that is the true goal of education."
