<div style="text-align: center;">        NO SCHOOL on Friday, May 25th and Monday, May 28th.</div>       Happy Monday!  Time is flying...before you know it your children will be 3rd graders.       A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to bake for our bake sale to raise money for the SPCA and Blue Chip organizations. As of right now, we have raised a whopping $540 dollars for these organizations.        In SS for Chapter 6, students will begin designing their hero posters this week. They will need pictures for the project.      The 4th Quarter AR party will be held on June 4th. 2-B will have their Winn-Dixie party on June 5th. Students will be allowed to invite one guest. The party time is 11-1.       Students are reading Because of Winn-Dixie for the remainder of the school year. Please make sure students bring their Winn-Dixie materials to school each day. You can find more information about Winn-Dixie on the Subject Info page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.       2-B is writing cursive style in all subject areas for the remainder of the school year.        Students should continue to practice their addition/subtraction  & MULTIPLICATION facts so they know them "snappity-snap".       4th quarter AR has started. Goal achievers in the 4th marking period will enjoy an outside picnic, extra recess, and ice pops. Congratulations to Sebastian, Brooke, Stephen, Caroline, Carter, Madison, Jocelyn, Megan, Matthew, Maddison, Jacob, Michael, Alayna, Kelley and Noah for earning 5 points for their 4th quarter goal. A huge round of APPLAUSE and lots of sparkly confetti for Sebastian, Eddie, Kelley, Caroline, Jocelyn, Sophia, Brooke, Matthew, Noah, Carter, Jacob, Madison, Stephen, Michael, Vanessa, Maddison, Genevive, Megan and Alayna. They have made their 2nd grade goal of 20 points. "READ ON!!!!!!
