Is there any extra credit?

Students can receive extra credit in only two ways, homework and class
participation.

Homemwork - At the end of the quarter, homework will count as a test grade on
a basis of 100 points. For example, if 20 homework assignments are given
during a quarter, each assignment would be worth 5 points. If a student
completed 18 assignments, her homework grade would be 90; if she completed
them all, she would get a homework grade of 100.

Class Policy - At the end of each quarter, adhering to class policy will count
as a test grade on a basis of 100 points. A student will lose five points for
each infraction in the following areas:(1) not having required
books/materials; (2) not focusing on work in class/computer lab; (3)
disrupting teacher or classmates; (4) not promptly returning forms requiring
parental signature; (5) not keeping materials on desk until the end of class.

These are the only extra-credit opportunities.
