The students had a nice week in school. Our theme for the week
was, “Gingerbread Cookies.” Some of the activities that we enjoyed were:
•Reading different versions of the, “Gingerbread Man,” and discussing the
similarities and differences between the stories
•Playing a gingerbread matching game
•Making pretend cookies using play dough and cookie cutters
•Playing in the sensory table with sand and cooking tools
•Learning about the letter Rr, the sound it makes, and learning to identify
words that begin with Rr
