About The Teacher

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from 
Pennsylvania State University.  I have been teaching in 
Midland for fifteen years.  Previously, I taught second grade for nine 
years in the school district. This is my sixth year in First Grade. I am a
proud member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society.

Mission For The Class

I believe in expending high levels of energy when working with first
graders.  I try to use creative and innovative ways to help my 
students succeed in the classroom. Every child is a unique individual 
who needs positive feedback and immediate reinforcement in order to 
grow academically. My mission is to provide this to my children on a 
daily basis.
