MEDICAL EXCUSES FOR P.E.CLASSES
If a student must be excused from physical education class for a medical reason, a note is required. If the ailment is confined to one class, a parental not will suffice. If, however, the student is under a physician's care for health or injury reasons and must miss successive classes, a doctor's note is necessary. If the excuse note does not state a time when the student may safely return to physical activity, then a doctor's release note must be received in order for the student to be allowed to return to classes. These notes may be brought into school or faxed directly from the doctor. Our school fax number is: 610-265-1616.
If a student has any chronic ailment that has special modifications regarding physical activity, please make sure that we have the pertinent information on file in the school nurse's office.
