I have more than 37 years of professional experience in the field of
Information (Computer) Technology, having worked with such companies as
Insurance Company of North America, Equitable Life Assurance Society,
General Electric Aerospace, and Merrill Lynch. I am a Viet Nam veteran
(Navy) and have taught communications topics at the US Naval Officer
Communications School in Newport, RI. I also taught computer topics at
Burlington County College in NJ for four years.
At Mother of Divine Providence School I strive to impart my enthusiasm for
and knowledge of computer technology and applications to the students to
prepare them to excel in their secondary and post-secondary education and be
prepared for the real-world challenges once their educational experiences
are done. In addition to teaching all students in the school, I run the
school's computer network, maintain and trouble shoot all of the school
computers, and work with our network support contractor in trouble
shooting problems with the school's computer network. I am a member of
the Technology Committee of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and a Discovery
Education DEN STAR educator.
I provide technology support to the school administration and faculty,
providing in-house technology training in the use of applications and tools
used at the school. I also freely give my time and expertise to help school
families with diagnosing problems with their home computer systems.
