*Kindergarten Graduation*

*Friday, May 25th @ 11:00 am in the Church Hall.  

*All students need to be dropped off via the front doors of school no later than 10:30 am.  

*After dropping off your child, family members may go to the Church hall and wait for the graduation to begin.
 
*All family members are welcome; however, no siblings in school may be pulled out of class to attend the graduation unless you officially dismiss them with the office as an early dismissal and sign them out.      
 

*Wednesday, May 5/23 is our end of the year luncheon celebration.  Your child does not need to pack thier lunch. 

REMINDERS:

*Home and School is asking for non perishable donations (pasta, desserts, canned food items, juice, snacks, buckets, dish detergents, laundry detergents, sponges, cleaning liquids, paper towels)  for the grocery wheel at festival.



*Home and School is also asking for donations for the following items for the various wheels: board games, dolls, toy trucks, books, candles,blankets, small electric appliances, gift cards, dvds, sports equipment, coloring books, arts and crafts.


*Bottle of liquor and case of beer are also being accepted for the liquor wheel at festival. These donations can be dropped during the school day to the office or the rectory.


*Thank you in advance for your help and dedication to the festival!



*Students may wear their spring-summer uniforms on Tuesday, May 1st until the last day of school.




*Just a reminder for parents whose children stay for lunch. You must be up to date with your lunch Mom fee for your children to stay for lunch. Our lunch Moms are  a dedicated group who give time and energy  to our children.

*Registration for new students is on going.  Please help spread the word we do have openings in grades. Regisration information can be found on our website motherdivinegrace.com.


*Please keep all schools,  their students and staff members in the Archdiocese in your prayers.

*Just a reminder for parents whose children stay for lunch. You must be up to date with your lunch Mom fee for your children to stay for lunch. Our lunch Moms are  a dedicated group who give time and energy  to our children.

*The monthly lunch parents fee of $5.75 (May and June) is
 due on Monday, May  23rd.   This fee is used to pay our lunch parents for their dedication and time to
the students.

*All girls hair needs to be pulled up in a high pony or a bun.  Boys hair should not be touching the collar.  This is a school wide rule and is being done to prevent the spreading of head lice.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated


*Mrs. Lockhart has recently started to send out a weekly email blast to the families we have email addresses for. If you haven't received this weekly email blast, please send an email to Mrs. Lockhart at jelockhart@motherdivinegrace.com so that we can add you to our contact list.

Everyday Reminders:


*Students are only permitted to have a health snack for recess. Please remember to pack a water also for recess.

*Students are not permitted to have any type of candy for lunch.  Please also limit the amount of snacks for lunch. 

*Please remember to pack two (2) napkins in your child's lunch if he/she brings a lunch from home.

*Hot lunch will provided for the students who pay in advance.

*Tuition payments are due on the 15th of each month.

*Students will continue to enter the school yard using the gate on Thompson Street. No student may enter school using the school doors on Monmouth Street unless he/she is late.

*The school day begins at 7:55 am.  Your child is considered late at 8:00.  


 *All girls must wear their hair up.  This is being done for health reasons.

*Boys hair length must not extend below the collar and bangs should not be below the eyebrows.  
 
 *Pretzel money -- $1.75 is due on Mondays....unless absent
     
     *Please remember to call out your child if he/she is sick.
 
*Please label all sweatshirts, jackets and lunch boxes with your child's name.  Please talk to your child about responsibility with remembering their sweatshirts and lunch boxes. 

*Please remember your obligation, duty and privilege to attend Mass each weekend.
