Parents, Please be aware that when your child is absent I need an absent note.
The note needs to tell why your child was absent, not that he or she was
absent. This is a state law. Your note is kept on file for the whole school
year as proof of your child's whereabouts on that day. Please be kind enough
to send one in on the day your child returns to school. Thank you for your
