Week of May 7 - 11

Grade 4: Fourth grade is beginning their chapter in Geometry.  We will begin talking about types of angles and triangles and how to measure them using a protractor.

Grade 6:  Students are working on completing a survey project in which they have designed a research study, created a survey, and collected and reviewed their data.  They are currently creating graphs to display the data from their surveys.

Grade 7:  Seventh grade continues the chapter on polynomials.  This week we will finish multiplying binomials and begin to factor polynomials.

Grade 8:  Eighth grade is finishing up the chapter on probability by completing a basketball activity.  Students will discuss the theory of "hot hands" and the probability of making consecutive baskets.

Advanced Math Finals will be the last week of May.
I will post study guides for all classes on Teacher Web.
