Reminders

The enclosed homework packet for the 4 yr olds is due after President’s Day holiday. Please go over it with your child by giving them the directions then encourage them to complete on their own. We are working on gaining independence in completing schoolwork to help ease the transitions into Kindergarten. On the number writing pages please use a marker to help correct backwards numbers so you child can trace over them and get used to the feel of how the number is written.

We did not make it to the library on Tuesday, all books that came in were returned to the library.

THANK YOU for the paper towel, etc donations we really appreciate it!

Also a big HEART to all of you for remembering Mrs. Hagy and myself on Valentine’s Day!

This Week:

Mr. Q was our letter person of the week. He asked a lot of questions. We discussed the difference between a statement and a question then attempted to distinguish between the two.

We worked with quarters in honor of Q week. We did quarter rubbings that were very cool then we played a game of Quarters toss on the Q.

Our 4 year olds reviewed patterns with Mrs. Hagy creating cool patterns with themselves. They also practiced working with numbers 11-20 and basic addition skills.

Our 3 year olds finished up letter P from last week and worked on numbers 1-10. They practiced counting out heart stickers to match numbers to sets.

Have a great weekend!
