My name is Lori Bodnar and I am a second grade teacher at Bower Hill
Elementary. This is my ninth year teaching second grade in the Peters
Township School District. I have taught both first and second grades over the
past thirteen years.
I am a graduate of Duquesne University where I earned a B.S. in Education.
In 2008 I also earned my M.S.Ed in Instructional Leadership.
My family and I live in Upper Saint Clair. Here we are at one of our favorite
places...the beach!
This is our son Dylan. He will turn four years old this September. He goes
to preschool at Trinity Weekday School. Dylan loves superheros, Star Wars,
Monster Trucks, and playing outside on his swingset.
This is our daughter Sydney. She will turn two years old in February. Sydney
loves Jessie and Woody from Toy Story and she also loves watching Peppa Pig!
This is our dog Harley. She is a 14 year old mixed breed. Even though Harley
is slowing down as she approaches her "golden doggie years", she still loves
her doggie treats and barking at the mailman.
My favorite book is James and the Giant Peach which is written by Roald
Dahl. I love all Roald Dahl books!
I love to eat all types of Italian food. My favorite dish is spaghetti and
meatballs.
I love to read, dine out, shop, travel to the beach, cheer on the
Pittsburgh Steelers, and MOST OF ALL...hang out with my family in my spare time.
