 Announcements Moving right along...We have begun unit 7, entitled "Actions and Words" in the LEAD 21 reading series. The focus question for this unit is "How do our actions and words affect others?" Our comprehension strategies will include identifying cause and effect, summarizing and determining important information when we read. We have covered many new words, and our vocabulary is growing! Log onto the LEAD 21 website to view all the books your child is reading in school! Remember, LEAD 21 and password are found on your child's homework folder! Read, read, read! There are many fun games to play to reinforce skills, too! Watch for the units that load at the top of your child's, we are presently starting unit 7. Just click on the "7" to see what is coming next! In Math, we have completed chapter 9 which is readiness for addition and subtraction. Chapter 10 we will explore addition and chapter 11 will explore subtraction! Continue to practice counting to 100! Watch for some fun days planned in June! |
