OUR 3rd ANNUAL PENN LONDON FIELD DAY: “Hawaiian Luau”

Dear Parents/Guardians,
In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and teamwork among students, we will be
holding the 3rd Annual Penn London Field Day on June 9th (Rain date on June 11th).
I will need at least 100 people to help with the Field Day stations. I’ll need at
least 50 volunteers in the morning, 8:30am-12:00pm and 50 volunteers in the afternoon,
11:30am-2:00pm. If you wish, you may also volunteer to help for the entire day. It’s
easy, enjoyable, and a great day to have some fun with the children. If you are able
to help out, please return the bottom portion of this letter as soon as possible. I
will assign the volunteers to the stations as I receive them and I will give you a
call to confirm the date and time. Just a reminder that all volunteers must have the
proper clearances. Set up starts at 8:30 a.m. You will be responsible to help decorate
the cafeteria/field and make sure you are ready to go by 10:00 a.m. or tearing down
your station at the end of the day and bringing the equipment back to the gym. The
afternoon session will end at 2:00 p.m. You are more than welcome to stay for the
opening ceremony at 9:15am and the closing ceremony at 2:15pm. I look forward to
